Paul Banks (brother of Philip maybe?) is the singer for Interpol. Officially he probably feels that he wants to explore music outside the boundaries of Interpol. Unofficially, he probably thinks he can shake some extra cash out of the kids’ pockets.
Well, if it was Billy Joe Armstrong, this might work. But if you are Paul Banks, singer for an invisible band that’s not made out of individuals, it probably won’t.
